NaNoWriMo!
It's November. The noveling madness has begun. When the Pilgrims chose the fourth Thursday of November to celebrate Thanksgiving, they really didn't realize the havoc they would create when it meant that someday I'd have to try to finish my novel in 25 days instead of 30. Here's to a noveling frenzy that puts me so far ahead of my word count goal that I can take a few days off when it's over. :)
5011 / 50000 words. 10% done!

words?
Mia's Story:
I'm not writing anything new.
I'm just playing with previously arranged words and rearranging them some more.
I should be writing new stuff.
I really should.
I thought of a really great beginning to a story the other day while driving. It promptly left
my head. I should have written it down, but I heard that it's frowned upon to write and drive.
I haven't heard stats on it, relative to drinking-and-driving or texting-and-driving, but I'm
sure it's not a good idea. I did have a minor accident this summer while cleaning-up-a-spill-
and-sitting-at-a-red-light. I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm sure I'll have to pay for a
new paint job on her rear fender before she turns in her leased Escape.
That's it for now.

word fun
Finally got around to checking out http://wordle.net.
Found this:
Of all the people out there who might have created this particular wordle, I think I might know this creator. With 6 billion choices, I'm probably wrong. But I'm going to pretend I'm not, just for fun.
Now that I've enabled Java, I think I'll create my own:

Misc. characters...
1. Carine Schaeffer
2. Sheard Jelliman
3. Millicent Moonshower
4. Ettie Cherry
5. Laila Rhinehart
6. Clay Shea
7. Jayde Adams
8. Teal McCrady
9. Eileen Pery
10. Geffrey Shaner
Today's list of ten random names. brought to you by my new favorite random name generator. Bring any characters to mind? I'd love to meet Millicent Moonshower, although I doubt that's her real name. I've already used Geoffrey, so I don't think I could create a Geffrey. And I seriously doubt I could have a character with a rhyming name. Imagine away. Create a new fictitious friend.

Warning - spoiler alert!!
But since my wide readership of two has already read the series, I don't think I'll actually be spoiling anything for anyone...
So -
book 1 - introduce supernaturals: but mostly vampire story w/ good and bad vampires. werewolves allowed to go by wayside until -- BAM!
book 2 - reminder that werewolves had been mentioned: wolf vs. all vampires, good vs. evil vampire battle continues.
book 3 - good vampires & wolves vs. evil vampires? evil vampires & wolves vs. good vampires? each group for itself? I really hope it's the first of these. I'd hate for her to create an alliance between the evil vampires and the wolves. She's set it up such that the chances of this are slim to none, but it is fiction and anything can happen.
If I manage to finish Eclipse before the end of March, it will only have been a four-book month, but I would still be at 27 for the three months, which isn't far off the ten-books-per-month goal to get my hundred for the year. Yes, I know there are twelve months in the year, but November and December are pretty full. :)

Edward/Spike/Cedric...
So, I finished Twilight on Monday and started New Moon last night. How I'm sitting here writing this and not reading, I do not know.
Edward is a preppier Spike, in my head. Not the dark, brooding Spike, but the I'm-tortured-by-my-love-for-Buffy Spike - the one at the end of the musical. I'm not sure if Cedric will look good as a blonde, but his face is pretty enough to be Edward. It will be interesting.
Oh - and my neice and I have started our brainstorming for ScriptFrenzy via a Google doc. I wish there was a way to set up notifications after the co-author edits the document.
